Tattslotto is a habit for most people – they put their Saturday Lotto coupon on, and hope. This coming Saturday, 3 April 2010, I am advising you NOT to play Tattslotto.
Why? Well, it not something mysterious, like a misalignment of the planets – Just simple, straightforward logic. You see, this Saturday the Soccer Pools lottery will have a First Prize of at least $1.75 Million. My advice? Give Tattslotto your money still – but for the Soccer Pools, not Saturday Lotto.
Why is this important? Well, Saturday Night Lotto has Odds of 1-in-8,145,060 for its 45-ball lottery.
The Soccer Pools has Odds of 1-in-2,760,681 for its 38-ball lottery.
That makes you almost THREE times more likely to win the lottery by choosing to play the Soccer Pools instead of your normal Saturday Night Lotto.
Now lets look at Prize Money. It is very misleading to say, Yes, but Saturday Lotto pays out $4 Million – and the Soccer Pools only has $1.75. That is a classic half-truth. Let’s dig a little deeper and look at the number of winners:

For 3 of the 5 weeks above, the Soccer Pools did not even have a Second Prize winner (although Divisions 2-5 are peanuts for the Soccer Pools).
It is unlikely there would be more than 1 Soccer Pools winner – so you pocket $1.75 Million plus if you win.
Even if there were 2 Soccer Pools winners – you still pocket $875,000.
So, my advice for this Saturday is to play the Soccer Pools lottery, not Tattslotto. Once the Soccer Pools goes off, it drops to a ridiculously low First Prize, so go back to Tattslotto then.
